He was born in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, on October 8, 1960. The local government area where he comes from is Emohua LGA, Port-Harcourt. It is in Rivers State, Nigeria. In 2013, he started going to the University of Port-Harcourt and graduated in 2015. He speaks Ikwerre Igbo very well.

GUC is now married to his long-time girlfriend and love of his life, Mrs. Nkpoikana Ntuk (Nene Ntuk). They got married in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, on March 6, 2021, at Lemaco Halls and Garden, Plot 24/26 Ada George Road.
