Pastor Debola Deji Kurunmi Biography- Author, Keynote Speaker, Policy Advisor

Pastor Debola Deji-Kurunmi is a transformational coach for visionary leaders, best-selling author, and keynote speaker. Additionally, he is a ministry gift and public policy advisor. By engaging in coaching, consulting, and capacity building, Debola effectively utilizes her unique ability to empower individuals, organizations, and countries to achieve their full potential.

She serves as the President of Kingdom Leaders Global Alliance, a non-denominational Christian ministry, and the Executive Director of Ideation Hub Africa, a public policy and impact advisory firm. Additionally, she is the Founder of IMMERSE Coaching Company, a professional coaching practice.

She holds the esteemed certifications of Oleg Konovalov Global Coaching Certification’s Certified Visionary Leadership Coach, Gallup’s Certified Strengths Coach, and the International Association of Coaching, USA’s Certified Masteries Practitioner. Additionally, she possesses extensive experience as a corporate trainer and is certified as a job evaluation analyst and a Thomas International Certified Workplace Personality Profile Analyst. Debola has served as a Learning Consultant at Phillips Consulting and has been a faculty member at the World Bank, Olaniwun Ajayi LP, the Lagos State Government, OANDO Foundation, FATE Foundation, and LEAP Africa, among others.

Debola serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Mindset Transformation and Aid Organization, the Mandela Washing Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria, and Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative. In these capacities, she offers strategic counsel on matters pertaining to senior leadership development, program execution, policy analysis, and organizational design.

Debola leads a tech-driven global community of over 70,000 change-agents residing in over 100 countries for IMMERSE Coaching Company. She does so by employing an innovative coaching methodology that enhances the influence, authority, and legacy leadership of these individuals. IMMERSE has generated more than one hundred courses and grown into three distinct subsidiaries since 2014.

By means of Ideation Hub Africa, she operates a social profit accelerator that provides executive education, collaborative platforms, funding opportunities, and advisory services to non-profits, innovators, civil society organizations, and public sector agencies in Africa. Since 2015, Ideation Hub has also served as the venue for Development Dialogue, the preeminent conference in Nigeria’s development sector.

She is in charge of a non-denominational Christian ministry at Kingdom Leaders Global Alliance that operates in ten countries and provides believers with spiritual discipleship and leadership development. The Alliance comprises a network of ministries, including the Kingdom Leadership Institute, FIREBRAND Movement, and Kingdom Women Global Alliance. Its initiatives empower Generation NEXT through mentorship bootcamps, ministry training, book publishing, and medical and humanitarian missions.

Debola has received numerous accolades for her exceptional leadership influence, with her transformative efforts being highlighted on television, in international news outlets, and in the media. She was honored at the 2014 Crans Montana Forum in Geneva as the New Leader for Tomorrow in the order of business, government, and parliaments. This distinction was presented in the presence of several presidents and international leaders.

She was honored twice as a Mentor on the Queen’s Young Leader Awards, a fellowship bestowed by the UK Government in recognition of outstanding young leaders in the Common Wealth. She was named a Mandela Washington Fellow and one of Africa’s most promising young leaders by the United States Government in 2018. She was named one of the 100 Most Inspiring Nigerian Women in 2019 and was honored at the 2021 Motherland Awards as Nigeria’s Leading Coach. BusinessDay recently recognized DDK as one of the 50 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria for 2022.

Debola delivered the stirring popular address “How to Fry Fish to Solve a Wicked Problem” at the 2018 Mandela Washington Annual Summit in Washington, DC. In it, she imparted sincere wisdom to African youth leaders who are eager to address the most formidable obstacles faced by the continent.

DDK, as she is affectionately known, is the author of twenty-one books to date and has addressed emergent leaders, teams of multinational corporations, global development practitioners, SME owners, and purpose-driven individuals on three continents.

Her union with her romantic partner, Ayodeji Kurunmi, has produced a progeny.
