Pastor Travis Greene and Pastor Jackie Gyamfi, his heartthrob, are blissfully married. They jointly serve as co-pastor of Forward City Church in South Columbia.

Travis Greene was born five years after his father died of aneursym in 1989, he was then raised by a single mother in Delaware, on  Mrs. Charleather Greene and was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Greene was resuscitated from an initial stillbirth. A few years later, while he was in Germany, at the age of four, he was resuscitated following a fall from a four-story building.

2007 marked the beginning of his musical career at the age of 23, when Greenelight Records released his debut album, The More. This occurred precisely on December 4, 2007. Subsequent to that, he has issued two studio albums and an extended play: Stretching Out (Pendulum Records, June 8, 2010; The Hill, 2015; and Intentional, 2015). The live album Crossover: Live From Music City, the third studio album by Travis Greene, was released in 2017. In addition to having his songs appear on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and Top Gospel Songs listings, Greene has received numerous award nominations, including five Grammys and thirteen Stellar Awards.

Forward City Church is led by Pastor Travis Greene and his spouse in Columbia, South Carolina.

Stretching Out marked Greene’s debut on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart, where it debuted at position 27. Both “Still Here” and “Prove My Love” peaked at No. 17 and No. 29, respectively, on the Billboard Top Gospel Songs chart.

On August 21, 2015, Greene released Intentional, an extended play, via RCA Inspiration. This album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. “Intentional” reached its highest position ever at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Songs chart.

The Hill, Greene’s second studio album, was released by RCA Inspiration on October 30, 2015. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel charts.

Greene’s ascent within the gospel genre has been documented in several publications, including Billboard, Rolling Out, Jet, and Rolling Out Magazine. Additionally, she has graced the stage at the Essence Music Festival, Trumpet Awards, and BMI Trailblazers.[15] Greene was hailed by JET Magazine as “The Future of Gospel” in 2016.[13]

Greene recorded his third studio album, Crossover: Live From Music City, in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 2, 2017.

Greene emerged victorious among the nominees at the 2017 Stellar Gospel Music Awards on March 24, 2017, hoisting seven trophies. A medley of “Made a Way” was performed by Greene, Gospel recording artists Israel Houghton, Jonathan McReynolds, and Jonathan Butler at the awards.

Pastor Travis Greene, a Grammy-nominated artist and husband and father of three, is a devoted man in his personal and spiritual life. Pastor Travis derives immense joy from witnessing the joy on the face of his wife Jackie, whom he affectionately refers to as his “ray of light.” When he is not on tour or conducting prayer at Forward City Church, he spends most of his time cuddling his sons at home.

Pastor Travis, a five-time GRAMMY® nominee and award-winning chart topper as of the compilation of this biography in January 2023, continues to forge new ground with his music, most recently commemorating the fifth-year anniversary of his fifth number-one hit single at Gospel radio with “Good and Loved” (featuring DOE). Co-pastore of Forward City alongside his wife and co-founder Dr. Jackie Greene, Travis Greene continues to provoke thought and disseminate novel messages to the general public via his social media platforms and the website of his church, Forward City, where he leads ministry.
