The Brightness of Thy Light- Poetry
Shall I compare You to the sun that set every morning,
And gives light to the whole world?
No, I guess! I do limit the brightness of Thy light
What about the moon?
Obvious No, I do be meaningless to leave the sun for moon
Though non qualifies my assertion
When I saw the sun shall be no more thy light by day;
neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee:
but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
Made me wonder how bright You are
No wonder the Israelites couldn’t behold Moses face
After just a little of Your brightness rob on him
If the sun can shine so bright through out the world daily
Without growing dim or less bright or less hot
You must be incomparable?
No wonder darkness could not comprehend You
It has seen light but the brightness of Thy light can’t be comprehended
Just as they saw the brightness of Thy light in the account of Matthew
Shall we have such experience again?
Many are lurking in darkness
Shall my light shine as Isaiah said in sixty and three
That the people which sat in darkness may see great light
Just as Matt asserted in four and sixty
I know You have made me light
I know I am light
But it seems I need more fire to burn even brighter than the sun
Set me on fire, Lord!
Let the brightness of Your light rob off me just like Moses
Tarry! In the secret place! Help oh Lord
That the deliverer will not end up needing deliverance
