Pastor Emmanuel Iren – Founder Of Celebration Church International

Emmanuel Aniefiok Iren, also known as Emmanuel Iren, is a Nigerian speaker and gospel singer who was born on December 18, 1989. He started the Lagos, Nigeria-based Celebration Church International (CCI). His first record, Kerygma, came out in 2018, and his second album, Apostolos: Voice of Transition, came out in 2022.

Educational Life

Emmanuel Iren was born on December 18, 1989, in the Nigerian state of Akwa Ibom. He went to Saint Bernadettes Nursery and Primary School in Ipaja, Lagos, for his first few years of school. From there, he went to Queen’s Choice Nursery and Primary School College in Ikotun, Lagos. He got his secondary education at Doregos Private Academy.

In 2011, he got a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology from Covenant University in Ota, Nigeria. He also has an MBA from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Ministerial Life

In 2008, when Emmanuel Iren was a freshman at Covenant University, he started a Christian group called Triumphal Youth Fellowship. [10] Soon, the group of friends grew beyond the college grounds and became a full-time ministry.

The Triumphal Church opened in Lagos on November 11, 2012. It got a new name in 2014, when it became the Celebration Church International, or CCI for short. The Celebration Church International has more than 7,000 people and 18 branches around the world. Thirteen of the branches are in Nigeria, three are in the UK (London, Manchester, and Birmingham), and one is each in the USA and Canada.

Music Ministry

In 2017, Kerygma, Emmanuel Iren’s first record, came out with the Outburst Music Group. Odunayo Adebayo, a Nigerian gospel singer, put him in his hit song Zoe in 2021.

In August 2022, he revealed that his first album, Apostolos: Voice of Transition, was coming out. It had 13 songs, such as “Overcome,” “In Your Name,” “Holy Ghost,” and “Glory.” Other gospel artists like Sinach, Nosa, and Judikay were also on the record. Not long after the record came out, it was one of the top 10 on Apple Music.

Recognition And Personal Life

Pastor Emmanuel Iren got happily married to his wife at the age of 24, in November 2014, Pastor Iren and Laju Iren have three daughters.

Pastor Iren was mentioned in YNaija Magazine among the 100 most influential people in ministry in Nigeria, in 2021

Apostolos was nominated as the album of the year (Kingdom Achievers Awards), 2022
