Minister Judith Kanayo is a beloved and well know Nigeria gospe; minister, who is popularly known as Judikay, Judikay is signee of the EeZee Concept Gospel Music Record Label.
She has released difeerent blessed songs, which some popular ones include “More than Gold” where she featured Minister Mercy Chinwo Blessed.
Judikay, a member of the Igbo Eastern ethnic group in Nigeria, was born as the eldest of four children into the Kanayo family on October 26. She is a native of the Asaba local government area of Osimili South, Delta State, Nigeria.
Judikay is an abbreviation of her given name, Judith Ifeyinwa Kanayo. Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God established Redeemer’s University in Ede, Osun State, where she successfully completed her degree in Theatre Arts and Film Studies. Minister Judikay served as the CLO of Imoru, Ose Local Government, Ondo State, during her NYSC.
Presently under contract with EeZee Concepts, Judikay performs alongside ministers Chidinma Ekile, Minister Esther Olabisi, and minister GUC, all of whom are gospel artists.
Judikay debuted in the music industry as the backup vocalist for Akinwunmi Nathan Oluniyi Akiremi, more commonly referred to as Florocka. “Nobody Else” was the title of her debut single, which she issued in 2013.
When she released “More than Gold” in 2019, a heartfelt gospel composition that exalts the magnificence of God, Judikay rose to prominence. In “More than Gold” by Judikay, Mercy Chinwo is featured. In addition to a long list of notable gospel ministers and musicians, she has performed alongside Frank Edwards, Chioma Jesus, Joe Praize, and Tim Godfrey.
Dalos College Ota was where she completed her secondary education.Additionally, she graduated with a degree in theatre arts from Redeemer’s University in Osun state.
Judikay began her career by presenting at the Christian Pentecostal Mission, her congregation. Pastor Iyke Anselem Opara, whom Judikay holds in high regard and admires as a devout Christian, is the contented spouse of Judikay. On August 15, 2020, the charming couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony conducted in her hometown of Oshimili local government area, Delta State. In conjunction with her spouse, Pastor Judikay serves as the leader of The Resurrected Global Network.
After the success of her single “More Than Gold,” Judikay released “Man of Galilee,” her debut album. The fourteen-track album was released in November of this year. The album is accessible via digital resellers and all streaming platforms for a duration of 1 hour and 4 minutes. Judikay’s composition “Idi Mma” garnered a nomination for the esteemed Maranatha Awards USA Award for Best Praise Song. “Chinedum” also earned her nominations for Gospel Music Video of the Year and Best Prophetic Song.
