Pastor Lanre Rex Onasanya has been in ministry for over 20 years, who is popularly known as Pastor Rex or P. Rex and he is the President of Lanre Onasanya Ministry, as well as the founding Pastor of Spirit of Life Christian Centres in Ijebu-Ode and Lagos, Nigeria and now the Lead Pastor of Spirit of Life Christian Centre Canada. He has relocated to London Ontario, Canada with Bukola Onasanya, his wife and their sons.

Pastor Rex is a devout instructor of the divine word. Following a variety of ministerial positions, he received his episcopal ordination in November 2000. Following this, he received a summons to launch in 2005, and he was directed to establish the ministry’s headquarters in Ijebu-ode, where he began a few outreaches in 2006. A twelve-week weekly fellowship began in November 2006, and on January 28, 2007, with seven members, the church arm was established. Since then, the church and ministry as a whole have experienced tremendous growth, hundreds of lives have been transformed, individuals have been raised with a consciousness of the word and the ministry, and a nation has been progressively influenced for Jesus.

As a Mass Communication graduate, he is extremely invested in the next generation and longs for them to experience all that Christ has abundantly provided. Pastor Rex’s practical, non-dogmatic approach to the Bible has garnered significant acclaim and has motivated numerous individuals to develop a personal relationship with the word of God.

A straightforward individual who imparted God’s Word in a straightforward manner and with a wealth of knowledge, P. Rex’s life exemplifies the formidable influence of God at work at Spirit of Life Christian Centre, as well as the immense favor that befell his ministry and life. Pastor Rex is a man of unwavering faith who imparts the Word of God with clarity, simplicity, and authority. He provides direction and counsel with the love of God at its core. He is an outstanding influence and role model for many. Consistently, he serves as the host of the monthly teaching conference Influence of the Spirit, which is conducted in Lagos, Nigeria.
